- Research at least 3 different types of photography (commercial, portrait, art, photojournalism, etc…) and find a photographer that inspires and works in a style that you would like to try. Here's a link to get you started: http://www.photography.com/articles/ Also check out Flickr for more ideas.
- Write a paragraph about the photographer that you chose. Give a short history about them and tell why you picked them. Also in this paragraph define what you think this photographer's style is, what sets them about from others in their field. If they are still living, try emailing them to get more info.
- Shoot at least 24 photos in their style. Print a contact sheet and turn in. Post your best 5 photos to your blog along with the photo(s) from the photographer that inspired you.
