Master Photographer Blog Posts

Through out the rest of the semester part of your job will be to research Master Photographers.  These are people who have honed their photography skills and become world renowned for their art.  Your job will be to find and research 3 different master photographers and report out on them on your blog.  Here is a website to help you find master photographers: http://masters-of-photography.com/ (Click on the names running down the left side of the page)


Each blog post will need to include the following:

  • Create a short bio. Where are they from?  How and/or why did they get started? Were they educated in photography, if so where?  Why is he/she significant to landscape photography? Why do they create the art that they do? Etc…

  •  Choose 3 of your photographer’s images and critique them.  Include photo elements and evidence you see in the photos to justify your opinion.  **Include images in your post.**
  •  Conclusion.  Overall, How do you feel about your photographer’s art?  Do you like or dislike their photography? Why or why not?  Do you feel that their photography is an important part of art history?  Why or why not?  How will this seeing this person's photography effect your own work?
